Since moving back to Arizona in February of this year, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with creatives in the local bridal market, which has been incredible! My dear friend and fellow creative, Cassidy Miller, founder of BARA (seriously…check out her work…its BALLERRRR…I have her Fringe Crossbody bag & wallet) recommended checking out the Scottsdale chapter of a group called, The Rising Tide Society. In doing so, I found an incredible group of mostly women entrepreneurs (yeah baby!) collaborating on projects (weddings, corporate shoots, styled shoots, etc) in the interest of “community over competition”. I BREATHE for tag lines like that! Once a month the local chapters meet for, Tuesdays Together, to check in with each other while going over specifically curated curriculum of tips for better business’ exclusively for Rising Tide Members! How sweet is that? Material FOR creatives BY creatives. This is the heartbeat of the collective and it’s so refreshing. Connecting with this group also lead me to an online platform called, The Honey Book, which is an all-in-one software and community used to grow your business.
Through this amazing community I was introduced to a local wedding photographer named Jenna. She and her husband, Travis, are the owners of Lovelee Photography. With a beautiful website and local following I was excited to collaborate with Jenna because she was looking to interview me for a blog post about questions every bride has for makeup artists! The rest is history folks because gorgeous Jenna and I hit it off immediately and she is most certainly one of my top recommended AZ Wedding Vendors!
So without further adieu, I introduce you to this dynamic duo! Thank you Jenna for the wonderful questions you asked and I hope you enjoy her fantastic and informative blog post here.
